She completed her MBBS from Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai and MS from Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Pimpri. She completed her fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at BKG Malda Eye Hospital PVT Ltd Malda, West Bengal and continued to work there as a consultant. She has also worked at MGM Medical University, Kishanganj, Bihar as a Senior Resident and Government Hospital, Marwad, Daman as a Senior Ophthalmic Consultant.
