Dr. Harish Rai, a Mumbai-based Ophthalmologist He pioneered Phacoemulsification surgery (cataract surgery) in the northeast suburbs of Mumbai and continues to keep pace with the fast-evolving trends and developments in Ophthalmic science. Dr. Rai underwent basic medical training at LTMMC, Sion, Mumbai. This was followed by a Masters Degree in Ophthalmology from MR Medical College, Gulbarga. After his basic training in Ophthalmology, Dr. Rai completed a fellowship at the prestigious Schell Eye Hospital, CMC, Vellore, under the tutelage of the renowned Prof. Ravi Thomas. Dr. Rai is at present focused on Refractive Lasik and Refractive Cataract Surgery. With the help of cutting-edge technology, he has been at the forefront of using toric and multifocal intraocular lenses (IOL).
