Dr.Shraddha A. Chandorkar is an expert Ophthalmologist – cataract and surgical Retina specialist with an experience of more than 10 years. She obtained her MBBS degree from Mumbai in 2012, and then her postgraduate degree in Ophthalmology from esteemed Government Medical college, Aurangabad in 2018 following which she completed fellowship in Phacoemulsification Cataract surgery and Vitreo-retina surgery from the esteemed H.V. Desai eye hospital and National Institute of Ophthalmology, Pune. Her area of expertise is sutureless cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, screening and Management of Diabetic Retinopathy , Retinopathy of Prematurity, Minimally invasive Vitreo- Retinal surgeries for various Retinal conditions like Retinal detachments, Diabetic retinal detachments, Retinal bleeding, Macular holes,Epiretinal membranes etc with Management of post cataract surgery complications and Management of Uveitis. She performs Retina lasers and injections and vitrectomy procedures. She has vast experience of working at many government and charitable hospitals like JJ hospital – Mumbai , Nair Hospital – Mumbai , Mahavir charitable hospital- Mumbai , BJ medical college -Pune , Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital – Pune, NIO – Pune where she was also a teaching faculty for young ophthalmologists.
