Dr. Asmita Mahajan completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Chandigarh. She completed her post graduation from the prestigious R.P Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi and subsequently Specialised in Strabismus, Cataract and Neuro ophthalmology while doing her senior residency there. She has a special interest in Paediatric cases and has been awarded the Fellowship of the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in the year 2023. She is also a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, UK (FICO). She has presented in multiple national and international conferences like Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, All India Ophthalmic Society, South Asian Academy of Ophthalmology and Indian Neuro-Ophthalmic Society.
She was an integral part of the group that formulated the ‘Consensus Guidelines for Prevention and Management of Childhood Myopia’ published by All India Ophthalmology Society.
