With an illustrious career, he has served as the Former Chief & HOD at the Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS, New Delhi, and as the Former Dean (Research) at AIIMS, New Delhi.

A Surgeon Par Excellence, Prof. Titiyal has performed numerous live surgical demonstrations across the globe & has the honor to be the first Indian Ophthalmologist to perform live surgery at ASCRS, USA.

His remarkable work in the field of ophthalmology has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Distinguished Service Award from the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology and the Senior Achievement Award by American Academy of Ophthalmology USA.
