After completing his MBBS from AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr.Balasubramaniam.S.T , obtained his postgraduate degree ( MD Ophthalmology) from Dr.RP centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. He underwent further training and specialized in orbit, oculoplasty and ocular oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he has treated a wide variety of cases, including the most complex ones.
In over 21 years of clinical experience, he has performed more than 7000 oculoplastic surgeries, managing complex conditions involving the lids and orbit, including providing cosmetic rehabilitation after injuries or tumor removal.
