After MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai completed MS Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai followed by a Fellowship in Uveitis from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

With 9 years of experience as a Cataract surgeon adept in topical Phacoemulsification and Manual phacoemulsification with Premium IOLS. Also with a special inclination towards Intraocular inflammation and Uveitis, skilled in managing and treating patients with systemic steroids and immunosuppressive agents

Currently as the Dean of Dr Agarwals Institute of Optometry involved in redefining education ensuring it to be about a holistic exposure to all facets of life rather than a cracking of tests.The global need for eye care is projected to increase dramatically in the coming decades posing a considerable challenge to health systems.Understanding that the Optometrists play a paramount role in primary eye care and vision care rehabilitative services my role is to churn out the best possible candidates from the Institute.
