Dr. Aakash V. Cheema is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and Vitreo-retinal surgeon, Uvea and ROP specialist with over 8 years of clinical experience.
Having experience of 5000+ eye surgeries including cataract surgeries as well as retinal lasers, injections and complex vitreo-retinal surgeries, Dr. Cheema is well equipped to provide high quality services to his patients.
He completed his undergraduation from Government Medical College, Nagpur. And went on to pursue his postgraduation (MS) from the prestigious VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. After which he completed DNB from Delhi. He has worked as a Senior Resident at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr. Cheema went on to complete superspeciality fellowship training in Vitreo-retinal surgery from the prestigious Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot.
He has special interest in managing diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Cheema is Member of reputed societies including AIOS, DOS and VRSI.
