Dr. Baban Dolas has done MBBS & MS in ophthalmology from prestigious BJ Medical College, Pune and a fellowship from Shri Ganpati Netralaya. He has seen more than 3 lakh patients till date and has successfully done more than 40000 eye surgeries. He is president of Global Vision Foundation and pioneer of the first eye bank in PCMC. Dr Baban Dolas is ex-secretary of Poona and Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society and also ex Hon Gen Secretary of Maharashtra chapter of Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India.
