Meet Dr. Sharanya Rao
Dr Sharanya has completed her undergraduate medical education from Goa Medical College and postgraduation in ophthalmology from Madurai Medical College. She has completed fellowship in Neuroophthalmology, anterior segment and phacoemulsification from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. She has a special interest in managing cases of visual disturbances linked to neurological conditions. This includes the management of optic neuropathies, double vision, visualfield defects. She has several indexed publications and is the recipient of Dr K Selvakumari award for the best paper in Neurrophthalmology 2023.
