Dr. Kumar Saurabh obtained his MBBS degree from Burdwan Medical College and completed MS in ophthalmology from the prestigious Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Medical College Kolkata. Thereafter he did a two-year clinical vitreoretinal fellowship in medical and surgical retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He was awarded best outgoing clinical vitreoretinal fellow at the completion of the fellowship. He has more than a decade’s experience in managing retinal diseases, performing vitreoretinal surgeries and retinal lasers. He is also an avid researcher and has published more than 120 peer reviewed articles in national and international ophthalmology journals. He is a recipient of the Honor Award for Peer Review from the prestigious Indian Journal of Ophthalmology twice and serves on the editorial board of ophthalmology journals.
