Dr Prithesh Shetty is one of the few oculoplasty and ocular oncology surgeon in Mumbai, having completed his MS and DNB in Ophthalmology, he has further attained his fellowship in Oculoplasty from one of the top eye institute in the world Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. He heads the department of Oculoplasty in KB Haji Bachooali Hospital, Parel. He is also the practicing at Dr Agarwals eye hospital Kalyan and Bhandup, Sai-Leela Hospital Bhiwandi, Aarav Eye Care Mira Road and Kemps Corner, Samarth Eye Care Santacruz, Vismit Eye Care Andheri, FORTIS HOSPITAL MULUND.
He has the experience of performing more than 2000 Dacryocystorhinostomy (Lacrimal Surgery), more than 500 Ptosis surgeries (Lid Surgery), more than 100 orbital surgeries and multiple
evisceration and enucleation surgeries. He also specialises in ocular aesthetic procedures like Botox and Fillers. Owing to his keen inclination towards academics, he actively conducts lectures and teaching programme for postgraduate students. He also holds the recognition of having a certified fellowship in Oculoplasty under his guidance.
